Organic Spelt Flakes
Organic Spelt Flakes are steamed, rolled, and lightly roasted from whole spelt grains! Hearty spelt is nutty in flavor and firm in texture. Spelt can be used in granolas and baked goods.
Certified organic, vegan, spelt flakes are high in fiber, protein, iron, and vitamin C. Delicious and nutritious spelt flakes are also a good source of complex carbohydrates, and contain no fat, salt, sugar, or cholesterol!
To create hot cereals or soups, every 1 cup of spelt cooks in 1 ½ cups of water, and for approximately 15 minutes.
Add spelt flakes to any recipe that calls for rolled oats! Spelt flakes make a delicious addition to cookies, muffins, health bars, granola bars, etc.
