Organic Sliced Sun-dried Tomatoes
Sun-dried tomatoes are a great source of protein and fiber, as well as potassium and iron, vitamins C and K. They are intensely flavoured (in a good way) adding an umami quality to any dish. They are great chopped up on salads, in wraps, sandwiches or flatbread, and soaked and blended into sauces, dressings or hummus.
They are light, and strong in flavour, so a little goes a long way. In our plant based cooking we use them anywhere that we might add olives, as a delicious punch of flavour.
Use your sun-dried tomatoes in a hummus, by blending soaked sun-dried tomatoes with chick garlic, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil and salt and pepper.
Chop them up and sprinkle them on a pizza! Bright pops of flavour in every bite.
