Organic 9 Bean Mix
This is a colourful selection of organic beans and peas. It can be used for soups, chilies, and cold salads.
Rinse 1 cup beans. Pour into boiling water and cover. Soak for 6 hours. Drain and discard soaking water. Add 4 cups fresh water to cook beans. Simmer over low heat until tender, about 1 – 1 1/2 hours.
Organic Beans: Black turtle, red kidney, mung, navy, pinto. Organic Peas: chick, split green and yellow, whole green.
